The technology is developed for predictive maintenance with AI. It uses sensor data of critical systems and components on aircraft for early detection of progressive defects, or indications. Rectification can then be achieved before any defect can have an immediate effect on operational safety. This was accomplished for Mig29K by developing ML algorithms on Flight Data Recorder (FDR) data. FDR typically collects data from myriad of sensors already installed throughout the airframe and its components.
